Mark Shepard has been (among other things) a journalist specializing in Mahatma Gandhi and nonviolence; and a musician on flute, drums, and other instruments. Above all, he has been a writer, and whatever his interest, he has tended to write about it.
The materials on this site are mostly older work. Later, Mark changed his name to Aaron and became an award-winning children’s author. All his earlier themes, though, show up in his children’s stories and play scripts. You can find them on Aaron Shepard’s Home Page.
Mark now lives in Friday Harbor, Washington.
